Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: March 7, 2026
At BBD Local, we initiate the high-infrastructure deployment of your 12-site network immediately upon receipt of payment. Because this process involves the permanent acquisition of digital assets (domain names) and the allocation of private server space, the following refund policy applies to all subscriptions.
1. The “Infrastructure Commitment” (Non-Refundable Portion)
Upon successful payment of your first monthly subscription (or build fee, where applicable), our team immediately begins the Asset Acquisition Phase.
- 50% Non-Refundable Fee: 50% of your initial payment is strictly non-refundable once the transaction is processed. This fee covers the immediate out-of-pocket costs for the registration of twelve (12) unique domain names, diversified hosting setup, and technical architecture labour.
- Work Commencement: By starting your subscription, you acknowledge that “performance of the service” begins within 24 hours of payment.
2. Cancellation Within the 90-Day Initial Term
As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, all Digital Moat deployments carry a mandatory 3-month (90-day) minimum commitment.
- Early Termination: If a Client requests a cancellation before the 90-day term is completed, the Client remains liable for the full balance of the 3-month term.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not offer pro-rata or partial refunds for “unused” days within a billing month once the month has commenced.
3. Domain & Asset Retention
Because all domains and web properties remain the exclusive property of BBD Local, no assets or domains will be transferred to the Client in the event of a refund request or cancellation. The 50% non-refundable portion is retained by the Provider to offset the costs of maintaining these assets in our private network.
4. Technical Faults & Lead Performance
We guarantee the deployment and uptime of a 12-site lead-generation infrastructure.
- Refunds will not be issued based on “lead volume” fluctuations, as search engine indexing and market demand are external variables.
- If a technical fault occurs within our network, our sole liability is to rectify the fault within a reasonable timeframe (usually 48–72 hours). Technical downtime does not constitute grounds for a full or partial refund.
5. How to Request a Cancellation
Following the completion of your initial 90-day term, you may cancel your rolling subscription by providing 30 days’ written notice to info@digitalmoat.co.uk.
